BELGRADE — The Belgrade Historical Society will present “Uptah Camp,” a multi-media presentation of Maine Sporting Camps by the Maine State Museum as a benefit toward refurbishing the 1814 Meeting House.
The presentation will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at the Maine Lakes Resource Center, 137 Main St.
The presentation includes seldom seen historic 3D images of Maine’s sporting camps and sportsmen of the 19th and early 20th century and is narrated by Maine State Museum Director Bernard Fishman. Participants will receive 3-D glasses at the door.
The event is free, but donations are accepted for the campaign to restore the 1814 Town House on Cemetery Road, which will house the historical society’s growing collection.
