LIVERMORE FALLS — The GFWC/Livermore Falls Women’s Club recently presented a check for more than $258 to Harris House, thanks to proceeds from a breakfast basket raffle.
Harris House is an Intermediate Care Facility for those with intellectual disabilities with nursing needs.
Winner of the raffle was Renda Guild.
Club members also recently presented a check for more than $670 to the Spruce Mountain Primary School food cupboard. The donation was from proceeds from the election bake sale.
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service, collectively “Living the Volunteer Spirit.”
