Farmington Maine SeniorsPlus office to host caregiver support July 2

FARMINGTON — SeniorsPlus is holding a Caregiver Support Group from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 2, at its satellite office, 218 Fairbanks Road in Farmington.
The group is for caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, and is a chance to connect with others, share experiences, gain information, support and a friendly ear.

It is not necessary to register to attend the support group. It is free and open to the public.
Office hours for scheduled appointments at the Farmington office are 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday, Visitors must call 1-800-427-1241 to schedule an appointment.
Walk-in hours are 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. the second Thursday of the month. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns you may have about services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities and their families. Services are free and open to the public.

SeniorsPlus, with its main office in Lewiston, is a private non-profit corporation that serves as the local area agency on aging and disability resource center for Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford counties, and provides a network of support, information, services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities and their families.
