WATERVILLE — A number of central Maine students were named to the Colby College dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the 2018 spring semester.
Named to the list were:
Caroline E. Balano-Stott, of Monmouth, a member of the class of 2021, attended Monmouth Academy and is the daughter of Joel and Stephanie Balano-Stott of Monmouth. She majored in history.
Colleen E. Wright, of Fayette, a member of the class of 2019, attended Maranacook Community School and is the daughter of James and Mary Wright of Fayette. She majored in music-interdisciplinary computation.
Hannah O. Hartnett of Hebron, a member of the class of 2021, attended Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and is the daughter of Patrick and Tracey Hartnett of Hebron.
Kaitlin M. Volk, of Bowdoin, a member of the class of 2019, attended Mount Ararat High School in Topsham and is the daughter of Ronald and Lisa Volk of Bowdoin. She majored in biology with a concentration in ecology and evolution and environmental science.
The students were among 438 Colby students, or 23 percent of the qualified student body, to qualify for the dean’s list last semester, and earned a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher.
