RANGELEY — The Youth Ensemble of New England will be perform at the Church of the Good Shepherd at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 27.
The church is at 2614 Main St. and the concert is free, though donations are accepted.
The Youth Ensemble of New England is made up of 40 musicians, ages 10 to 20, and is based at Thayer Conservatory in Lancaster, Mass.
The repertoire includes works of Bach, Mendelssohn, Purcell and Dvorak, as well as great sacred music and lighter American and > Pops-type repertoire. Besides traveling the U.S., the orchestra has performed in several countries around the world, including Canada, Iceland, Scotland, and England.
