Carrabassett Valley Library exhibiting works of 19 local artists

CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The Carrabassett Valley Public Library’s exhibit this summer from June through August will feature the work of 19 local artists and includes photography, paintings and mixed media.

Artists are Doug Archer, Betsy Bass, Peggy Bishop, Karen Campbel, Bailey DeBiase, Augusta French, Joe Gambino, Danielle London, Sue Murphy, John Pease, Marguerite Robichaux, Jill Snyder Wallace, Barbara Stewart, Lucia Swallow, Carol Tanner, Greg Thomas, Patty Thomas, Barry White and Waylon Wolfe.
A wine and cheese garden party reception for the artists, open to the public, will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 6, in the Begin Family Community Room at the library 3209 Carrabassett Drive.
Summer hours for the library are Wednesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
