BRIDGTON — A new art exhibit, sponsored by the Friends of the Bridgton Public Librayr, is on display at the library’s Yellow Wall Gallery.
The exhibit can be seen during regular library hours through June.
The Yellow Wall Gallery is in the computer lab on the upper floor of the library, 1 Church St. The gallery opened about a year ago and offers local artists an opportunity to display their work to the public on a quarterly basis as well as helping beautify the library’s computer lab.
This quarter’s artists are Terri Lynn Pike of 4 Ewe Farm in Bridgton; Noreen Eagleston of Bridgton; and student winners of a poster contest from Lake Region High School.
Pikes is a textile artist, and she has various felted art pieces in the current exhibit.
Eagleston is a painter and has various oil and giclee prints in the current exhibit.
Lake Region High School student artists Aisley Stark, Alyvia Wilson, Gabrielle Crockett and Corban Ridlon each have posters in the current exhibit featuring interpretations of a “growth mindset.” The current exhibit will run though June; pieces will be rotated on a quarterly basis as space permits.
Artists interested in seeing their artwork featured in next quarter’s exhibit should submit an exhibit application to the Friends of the Bridgton Public Library Art Exhibit project coordinator.
