FARMINGTON — New Hope Baptist Church will host two performances of “Once Upon a Starry Knight,” a full-length family friendly musical, on June 30 and July 1.
Admission to the performances are free.
The musical revolves around King Arthur’s retirement. Lady Starry Knight and Sir Stormy Knight take a three-day challenge to see who would be the best new ruler for the Kingdom of Lumbago. Will it be Starry, who has a giving compassionate heart, or Stormy, who is determined to win at any cost? The performance is compete with a detailed set, costumes, a cast of 40, 11 songs with orchestrated accompaniments and even a couple of camels. The performances are 6 p.m. Saturday, June 30, and Sunday, July 1, at the church, 268 Perham St. For more information call 207-778-9696.
