Stephens Hospital Venture Out and Hike series to begin June 9

NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital will host its Venture Out and Hike series beginning June 9. It will be held the second Saturday of the month through Aug. 29.

The series is led by Lorie Olson and hikers meet at 8 a.m. in the parking lot of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, Route 26.
Hikes will vary in length and difficulty. Organizers said it’s a way to get exercise, meet new people, enjoy the fresh air and have fun.
The schedule is:
June 9 — Mount Will Trail, 3-mile round-trip loop, moderate;
July 14 — Table Rock, 2.4 miles round-trip loop, moderate-advanced
Aug. 11 — White Cap, 4.6 miles, moderate
Sept. 8 — Eye Brow Trail, 2.2 to 2.6 mile round trip, advanced
Oct. 13 — Puzzle Mountain, 7.3 mile loop, advanced
