AUBURN – The Auburn Recreation Department and Norway Savings Bank Arena are teaming up with the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society to host a pickleball jamboree Saturday, May 26, at the arena, 985 Turner St.
The jamboree will be open to mixed doubles in five different levels of ability, from beginner to highly-competitive. There is a $20 registration fee per player. Teams can register online at www.auburnrecreation.com
There is no official entry fee for attendees; instead, spectators are encouraged to donate an item to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society (kitten formula, kitten food, dog toys, etc.). Check the GAHS website for the shelter’s “wish list” of items www.gahumane.org
