RANGELEY — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts has announced open auditions for two live theater events coming up this summer.
Auditions will be held for an original play and the annual DIVA show in the coming weeks.
Auditions for “Self-Storage: The Contents of Our Lives,” a dark comedy, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26.
This is an original play written locally with support from a grant from the Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation. Production dates are August 17 to 20.
Those who cannot attend the audition should contact Anne Crump, director, at 617-947-9993 for an alternate audition before the audition date.
Auditions for the annual DIVA show will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, June 3 at the RFA Lakeside Theater. Actors are needed to dramatize iconic lines and scenes from movies, as well as singers, dancers and production help. Production dates are July 26, 27, 29 and 30.
Those who would like to try out but can’t attend the audition should contact Erin Smith, director, at 207-670-5153 for an alternate audition before the audition date.
