Lewiston High School art show runs through May 28

LEWISTON — The LA Arts Gallery will host a celebration of the artistic work of students from Lewiston High School, 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 25, at 221 Lisbon St.
Throughout the month, the gallery will exhibit artworks completed during the school year.

Selected works by students of art teachers Jody Dube, Kyna Pitula, Nathaniel Meyer and Sarah Stoker will be shown in a range of mediums, from ceramics to drawing and photography to painting.
According to Dube, who teaches ceramics, “The LHS art department has been a buzzing hive of creativity all year, and a tremendous amount of quality works have been created by the students. We hope the community will help us celebrate the students’ dedication to creative work”
The exhibition will run May 4 through 28.
Gallery hours are noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The reception for the artists coincides with the first Art Walk of the season. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. All are invited to attend.
