Greene’s Morse Library to hold May 19 plant swap, sale

May. 22018

GREENE — Morse Memorial Library, 105 Main St., will host a Spring Plant Swap and Sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 19.
Local plant lovers are invited to stop by with their plants, cuttings, transplants, seeds or bulbs to exchange with others.

Bring a plant, take a plant. The more you bring, the more you can take home. Only healthy plants are allowed, and they should be labeled with their common name. Those who needs pots or containers should check with the library in advance; there is a limited supply.
Those without plants to swap may buy them. Lil’s Family Greenhouse will be on hand selling a variety of plants, and visitors may browse the library’s collection of gardening, landscaping and home improvement books.
This is a rain or shine event; if the weather is rainy or iffy, the swap will take place indoors.
Morse Library is just off U.S. Route 202, a quarter mile down from Greene Central School.
For more information, call 207-946-5544, find the library on Facebook, or visit www.morse.lib.me.us.
