LIVERMORE — The General Federation of Women’s Clubs will hear about a program to help support elderly residents at it April meeting.
The meeting of the GFWC of Livermore Falls will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at the Masonic Hall, 60 Church St.
The club’s guest speaker will be Stephanie Crowe from SEARCH (Seek Elderly Alone, Renew Courage and Hope). She will speak about the services SEARCH provides, how the program is most effective and what volunteer opportunities may be available for club members.
She may also speak about other services Catholic Charities offers, as they are a sponsor of SEARCH.
The March meeting of the club was canceled because of inclement weather, and that meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 2,4 at the Harris House, 45 Brookside Ave., Livermore Falls.
