Kennebec Land Trust osprey trail walk is May 12

WINTHROP — The Kennebec Land Trust will celebrate International Migratory Bird Day by offering guided hikes Saturday, May 12, on the Harrison Avenue Nature Trail in Gardiner with Maine master naturalists and Augusta Bird Club members.
The Early Bird walk steps off at 7 a.m., and the Family Walk gets under way at 10 a.m.

Participants should bring binoculars and park at the New Mills Dam parking lot, Route 126/Cobbossee Avenue, for the one-mile hike.
From Route 295, head east on Route 126. After about two miles, the parking area will be on the left.
Hosted by Kennebec Land Trust and Upstream, the event is free; registration is not required.
