AUBURN — Divine Mercy Sunday will be celebrated after the 11 a.m. Mass Sunday, April 8, at Sacred Heart Church, Minot and Western avenues.
The Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Honor Guard will escort the Divine Mercy icon, blessed by Saint Pope John Paul II, in a procession at the beginning of Mass.
Adoration of the blessed sacrament and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in song will follow.
All honor guard members from Maine are welcome to attend and walk in the procession with the icon.
Those interested are asked to please arrive no later than 10:15 a.m. with regalia. The celebration is sponsored by Andy Valley Knights of Columbus Council 8742.
