Guest speaker Jeri Maurer, left, representing the Stanton Bird Club, receives her copy of the Optimist Creed from Mamie Ney, club vice-president. Maurer spoke to the members about the sanctuaries, trails and programs offered by the Stanton Bird Club that are open to the public.
