WINTHROP — Winthrop Middle School will hold performances of “The Little Mermaid Jr.” The weekend of April 6 through April 8.
Performances will be 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 6 and 7, and 1 p.m. and Sunday, April 8, at Winthrop High School’s Performing Arts Center, 211 Rambler Road.
The Little Mermaid Jr. is a look at the sacrifices made for love and acceptance. Ariel is fascinated with life on land but forbidden by her father King Triton. Determined to find her new love, Prince Eric, she makes a dangerous deal with Ursula, a sea witch, to become human. Travel into the ocean blue to sing and dance along with numerous aquatic creatures.
The cast of approximately 36 is led by Audra Eaton and Ashlee Fecteau; others in the cast and crew are Christine Downs, Kelsi Morgado, Kamy Dube, Charlotte Bryant, Kaitlyn Ellis, Muriel Lattin, Maddie Perkins, Marta Norton, Anna Whitestone, Sinead Callahan, Averie Silva, Vanessa Richards, Anna Berkes, Emma Thilbodeau, Lydia Szakas, Caraline Squires, Drake Parker, Liberty Wells, James Lawson, Sarah Adam, Selma Adam, Eli Libby, Brie Lewis, Aleah Childs, Sophie Blanco, Elsa Gobel-Bain, Aundrea Abbott, Ahna Dostie, Lydia Rice, Mia Chicoine, Juliette Gomez-Lawson, Autumn Gerry, Emily Finch, Kaylie Thomas, Anna Tague-Lacrone and Peyton Tully.
