HAMBURG, Pa. — Bel Canto Chorale will perform in western Maine the weekend of March 16 through 18.
Bel Canto, which performs Christian music, is the premier vocal ensemble of Blue Mountain Academy, and is made up of 30 ninth to 12th graders.
The group will be at:
Woodstock Seventh-day Adventist Church, 7 p.m. Friday, March 16.
Dixfield Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17.
Nordica Auditorium, University of Maine-Farmington, 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17.
Victory Christian Church, Livermore, 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 18.
Bel Canto Chorale is under the direction of Lawrence Galera. The group has toured throughout Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Romania, Hungary, South Korea and China. In addition, they have also performed throughout Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and New England. Their musical repertoire includes songs in English, Latin, French, Portuguese and German.
