Maine-ly Harmony, Back Bay Four to perform at UMA March 11

AUGUSTA — Maine-ly Harmony and the Back Bay Four will be the March performance in the University of Maine at Augusta’s Concerts at Jewett Series.
The show will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, in Jewett Auditorium at UMA. Snow date is Sunday, March 18. The series is sponsored by University of Maine at Augusta College of Arts and Sciences and UMA Senior College.

Maine-ly Harmony is a lively organization of women of all ages and from all over central Maine. Members come together to blend their voices in the a cappella barbershop harmony of singing, a style of four-part unaccompanied singing.
The Back Bay Four, a men’s championship barbershop quartet, are members of the Portland Downeasters Chorus. In addition to other venues around the state, performers from Maine-ly Harmony and the Back Bay Four often sing for residents of retirement homes, veterans homes and nursing homes.
