Mount Vernon library to host cheese-making workshop March 3

MOUNT VERNON — Dr. Shaw Memorial Library will hold a cheese-making, make-and-take event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3 at Echo Ridge Cheese, 2080 North Road.
All materials will be provided — just bring a few small jars, to take home your yogurt, and heavy-duty washing gloves if you have them.

Preregistration is required. The snow date is March 10.
The cost to participate is $50 per person or $75 for couples or family members.
