Spruce Mountain graduate Alex Bessey of Jay, goes up for two points for Central Maine Community College during a Jan. 30 home game against UMA. Bessey netted a season-high 15 points in the comeback victory for the Mustangs. The 74-67 win put the team’s record at 12-1. Bessey averages 8 points a game.
