Free valentine-making workshops to be held in Farmington

FARMINGTON — Children and adults are invited to Everyone’s Resource Depot to make valentines.
Workshops are 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8; Friday, Feb. 9; Monday, Feb. 12; Tuesday, Feb. 13; and Wednesday, Feb. 14 and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 10.

Participants may choose from a wide variety of materials ‐‐‐‐ yarn and ribbon, card stock and red envelopes, glitter and sequins, odd bits of lace and trim, and pretty papers. Many sample valentines and valentine projects will be on display to help stimulate creativity. All ages are welcome and the program is free.
ERD’s programs, like the valentine workshops, are offered to the public to create awareness of the fun involved in reusing scrap materials.
ERD is in the Education Center (Room 9) on the University of Maine at Farmington campus at the corner of High and Lincoln streets.
