Museum L-A is Hannaford Cause Bag February beneficiary

LEWISTON — Museum L-A has been selected as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Cause Bag program for the month of February. The non-profit organization seeks to connect generations and cultures, foster a spirit of discovery and human ingenuity, and help people experience the rich history and heritage of work, the arts and community.
Launched in October 2015, the Hannaford Cause Bag program is designed to support local nonprofits through the sale of the reusable Hannaford Helps bag.

Museum L-A, located in the Bates Mill Complex at 35 Canal St., was selected by Hannaford store leadership as the February beneficiary of the program at the Auburn Hannaford store on Spring Street. For every Hannaford Helps reusable bag with the good karma message purchased at the Auburn Hannaford during February, Museum L-A will receive a $1 donation.
“Museum L-A is honored to be selected as a recipient of the Hannaford Cause Bag Program,” said Kathy Becvar, director of development. “Our goal of $150 raised during the month of February will support our ‘Kids as Curators: Hidden Treasures Exhibit’.”
