OTISFIELD — The sixth annual Soup and Chowder Fest will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, at the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church.
Seating is available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The church is at 161 Rayville Road, three-quarters of a mile from Route 121.
The festival will feature many homemade soups, including New England fish chowder, Manhattan fish chowder, venison stew, Dutch pea soup, cheese and broccoli soup, smoked turkey and wild rice soup, butternut squash and white bean soup and others.
Rolls, bread and biscuits along with a variety of beverages will be served. Brownies, cookies and sweets are planned for dessert. The meal is free, but donations will be accepted and support activities in the ommunity.
