‘Souper Bowl’ community supper is Jan. 20 in Mechanic Falls

MECHANIC FALLS — The Mechanic Falls Historical Society and the Anglican Church of the Transfiguration will hold a Souper Bowl community supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Anglican Church, 64 Elm St.
A variety of homemade soups, including beef stew, corn chowder, broccoli and cheese, fish chowder and lamb barley with vegetables, will be served with bread, rolls and homemade desserts.

The cost of the Souper Bowl is $7 a person, and proceeds will be shared by both organizations.
