LEWISTON — The University of Southern Maine Lewiston-Auburn Senior College is offering 28 two-hour, one-day winter courses free to members.
The college is for those 50 and over and paid members have access to two courses and other events and activities, including participation in the Senior College Clubs including Dine Around, Outdoor Adventures, Afternoon at the Theatre, and Cross Country Skiing. The list of courses will be posted soon on the college’s website.
The college is also offering gift certificates to those who would like to become members or attend some courses, it said in a news release. Courses at the college are peer taught, with no entrance requirements, grades or tests.
