AUBURN — St. Dominic Academy boy’s hockey program will hold the 2017 St. Dominic Academy Christmas Classic invitational hockey tournament Wedesday to Friday, Dec. 27 to 29, at Norway Savings Bank Arena, 985 Turner St., featuring community rival Edward Little High School along with the following out of state schools — Notre Dame Catholic High School, Fairfield, Conn.; Bishop Brady High School, Concord, N.H.; St.Thomas Aquinas High School, Dover, N.H.; Rice Memorial High School, Burlington, Vt.; Medway High School, Medway, Mass.; and Smithfield High School, Smithfield, R.I.
Action will get under way with the following matchups:
* 1 p.m.– Smithfield v. St. Thomas
* 3 p.m. — Bishop Brady v. Rice Memorial
* 5 p.m.– Notre Dame v. Medway High School
* 7 p.m. — Edward Little v. St. Dominic
Thursday games will begin at 1 p.m. followed at 3, 5 and 7 p.m.; opponents dependent on prior-day results. Day three of the tourney will feature championship and consolation games at 10 a.m. and noon, utilizing both rinks of the Norway Savings Bank Arena.
