LEWISTON — Adapted by Christopher Schario and featuring “six actors and a fiddler,” the classic Charles Dickens holiday tale — “A Christmas Carol — will be performed Dec. 8 through 10 at The Public Theatre, 31 Maple St.
Performances are Friday, 7 p.m.; Saturday, 2 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, 2 p.m.
Uncluttered by spectacle, the actors and a musician grab a handful of props and create a unique rendering of this well-known story in a way never imagined and unforgettable, the theater said.
