AUBURN — Two St. Dominic Academy seniors who have been playing lacrosse together since they were 7 years old signed National Letters of Intent to Division II colleges together on Nov. 9 at the school’s Auburn campus, 121 Gracelawn Road.
Madison Leslie and Caroline Gastonguay signed letters for Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H., and Rollins College in Florida, respectively.
The pair started playing lacrosse through the Lewiston Recreation Department when they were 7. All they while they’ve had an impressive coach, Caroline’s mother, Leslie, according to a news release from St. Dom’s.
Leslie Castonguay started the girls’ lacrosse program at St. Dom’s while the pair were in middle school and has been leading it ever since, the release said.
