POTSDAM, N.Y. — Cassia Docos, of Harrison, Maine, is one of 1,071 students to receive awards or scholarships from the State University of New York at Potsdam for the 2017-18 academic year.
Docos received the SUNY Potsdam Freshman Scholarship.
She is majoring in visual arts and earning a bachelor of fine arts degree.
“These accomplished SUNY Potsdam undergraduate and graduate students were recognized for their achievements with support for their educational experience,” the school said in a news release.
