LEWISTON — Elaine Makas, chairwoman of the Androscoggin County Democratic Committee, recently announced the state Democratic Committee has voted unanimously to hold its 2018 biennial State Convention in Lewiston from May 18-20 at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee, 190 Birch St. Lewiston most recently hosted the Democratic State Convention in 2010, drawing approximately 1,000 attendees.
