FAYETTE — The descendants of James and Nettie Mitchell met in August at Fayette Central School for their annual reunion.
President Gail Davis conducted the family meeting. Lexi Davis and friends entertained everyone with several songs. A bountiful, potluck lunch was enjoyed, followed by a birthday cake for Gary Mitchell.
Jim and Jolene Kennison gave a slide show of their 50 years together, and many other family photos were on display. 2017 marked the 39th consecutive reunion for the Michell clan, with special plans aready under way for next year’s 40th.
