PHILLIPS — Bianca Caruso, one half of the nationally-known musical duo Freddy and Francine, was born in and spent much of her childhood in Phillips. Now she’s coming home. She and her partner, Lee Ferris, will perform Sunday, Oct. 29, at 4 p.m. at the Phillips Area Community Center, 21 Depot St.
Freddy and Francine — the stage name for Ferris and Caruso — is an Americana-Soul duo with voices reminiscent of Aretha Franklin and Van Morrison. Their songs blend soul, R&B, folk and Americana with a modern, yet timeless, appeal to all ages.
Admission will be charged, and refreshments will be available for purchase.
