UMaine Extension 4-H Kennebec County craft fair is Oct. 21

LITCHFIELD — University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H in Kennebec County will hold a craft and vendor fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Carrie Ricker Middle School, 573 Richmond Road.
The community craft and vendor fair is the largest annual fundraiser of the Kennebec County 4-H Leaders Association, which supports county 4-H youth programming and offers full and partial scholarships for national 4-H events, youth citizenship programs and camps, including Citizenship Washington Focus.

UMaine Extension 4-H is open to all Maine youth ages five to 18. Participation can include animal science projects involving dairy, goats, horses, poultry and sheep. Other options include community clubs, special interest (SPIN) clubs, 4-H camps, STEM programs, and engaging youth in leadership and citizenship opportunities.
