Author Nelson to talk about pirates at Cumston Library Oct. 18

MONMOUTH — Author and historian James L. Nelson will talk about the realities of piracy in America at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18.
Nelson, a Lewiston native, known for his portrayal of Maine pirate Dixie Bull, will talk about the buccaneers of the 17th century through the age of Ann Bonny and Blackbeard.
