NORWAY — The fall reiki clinic sponsored by the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Norway Town Office, 19 Danforth St.
The clinic is for people in treatment for cancer, cancer survivors and caregivers.
A reservation for an individual chair session is required.
Call Sherri at 207-890-0329 before noon Friday, Oct.13. After that date, remaining time slots will be available to anyone in the community wishing to experience reiki for themselves.
Reiki is gentle touch promoting relaxation, reducing stress; helping relieve pain and possibly improve sleep. Reiki is not a substitute for medical care or treatment. Future dates free reiki session clinics are Saturday, Jan. 27 and Saturday, April 21.
The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine is located at 199 Main St., in the Stephens Memorial Hospital Specialty Clinic building. The center is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Thursday and Friday.
