Freshman Jaidyn Negley of Leavitt Area High School in Turner had a good cross-country race at Roberts Farm in Norway Sept. 22, placing seventh among 23 girls from Oxford, Telstar and Lewiston high schools. Veteran teammate Chloe Veilleux was two places ahead in fifth, with a time of 25:34. Lewiston won the meet, and Lewiston junior Zaid Teklu was the individual winner, in 24:20.
