Optimists hear about NET Sports field work

Guest speaker Cam Cain, left, from from NET Sports Group is presented a copy of the Optimist Creed from L A Optimist Club President George Mathews at a recent meeting of the club. Cain spoke to the club about NET’s recent donation of $100,000 worth of work to Washburn Elementary School in Auburn for the reconstruction of their playground area.

He also described ​how their artificial turf product is installed, and how they maintain some of their completed projects, such as the field at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., where the New England Patriots play. They have done much work in the area, including fields at Bates, Colby, and Husson colleges, the University of Maine and many local high schools.
