CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The Carrabassett Valley Public Library is hosting several events during Sugarloaf Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 7 and 8.
The library’s used book sale will be held both Saturday and Sunday in the Sugarloaf Base Lodge Spruce Room. The sale is sponsored by the CV Public Library and Sugarloaf Area Christian Ministry, the proceeds are shared among local food pantries and the library. Volunteers are needed to help sort and set up at 2 p.m. Friday. The sale is 9 to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 to noon Sunday.
The library’s bake sale will be held beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday in the library lobby and continue until the baked good are gone.
Doug Archer of Wire Bridge Photography is exhibiting at the Carrabassett Valley Public Library and Community Center through October.
Those visiting the area area also invited to stop by and see the library community garden, builit and run by volunteers, with its produce going to the the Stratton Food Pantry. Those who would liek to help can order patio forever stones, available at the library and book sale.
