TURNER — The Turner Public Library will host an Irish music session from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays throughout October. Musicians of all ages are welcome to bring their instrument of choice, or to explore one of the library’s collection of lending instruments, including fiddle, concertina, bodhran and other hand drums, and ukulele.
The session will be led by Anthony Shostak on uilleann pipes and banjo. Admission is free. Story Hour is at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, ans will feature “Spookley the Square Pumpkin,” read by Jeannie Prince. A pumpkin craft and a snack will be included. Attendance is free of charge.
