1957-2017
TURNER — H. Elaine Parlin, 60, of Turner, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19 at her home. She was born Jan. 5, 1957, in Malden, Mass., the daughter of Robert A. Shelton and Helen M. (Hiltz) Shelton. She graduated from Reading High School in Massachusetts.
On Jan. 10, 1998, in Lewiston, she married Ivan “Buddy” Parlin. Together they owned and operated Novus Windshield Repair in North Turner, receiving many awards. Buddy passed away in 2011.
Elaine was a member and a deacon of the North Turner Union Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her mother, Helen M. Shelton of Auburn; her sister Dianna J. Carr and husband, Robert, of Lewiston; brothers Robert A. Shelton Jr. of Auburn and David E. Shelton and wife, Brenda, of Oxford. She was predeceased by her father, Robert A Shelton and her husband Ivan “Buddy” Parlin.
