SeniorsPlus to hold Lovell agining well workshop Sept. 27

LEWISTON — SeniorsPlus will hold a Live Well, Plan Now workshop in Lovell that will help adults make informed choices about agining well and living independently and safely at home, the organization said in a news release.
The workshopo will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, at Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library.
Valerie Cole, the SeniorsPlus aging resource specialist for Oxford County, will teach the workshop.
SeniorsPlus is based in Lewiston, with staff who work remotely in Oxford and Franklin counties.

“If you want a good life in the next 20 years and beyond, you must plan now,” the organization said in a news release. “Making choices and knowing your options will keep you in control of your life. What you want your life to look like is up to you, and that decision starts today.”
Some of the questions that will be addressed are how people can grow old in their house, how to pay for services for ones self or partner, what to do when one can no longer drive, and more.vRefreshments will be served.
