POLAND — Community Credit Union recently sponsored the Norm Nolette golf tournament — an annual tournament held by the Norm Nolette Chapter of Credit Unions to raise money for Ending Hunger in Maine — held at Poland Spring Golf Course and Resort.
Several credit unions combined energy and ideas to put together the tournament, which also included a silent auction. The silent auction raised $1,163. bringing the total amount raised to $50,000.
All money raised through the event will go directly to benefit the Maine Credit Union League’s Campaign for Ending Hunger in Maine.
