MEXICO — The Oxford County Wellness Collaborative will offer a training opportunity for anyone wanting to learn to hold conversations that foster trust, commitment, and a sense of belonging, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Med-Care Ambulance, 290 Highland Terrace.
The Restorative Community Training is for anyone who would like to participate in or facilitate meaningful, respectful conversations.
The training has also been shown to empower participants to directly address personal and community improvement, according to a news release from the collaborative.
The training is free of charge. Our priority is to make this experience available to everyone who is interested. Donations to the collaborative are welcomed, so that additional training sessions may be offered. Help with childcare and transportation is available. Food and drinks will be provided for all participants.
The Wellness Collaborative’s mission is to engage all community members in working together to transform personal, environmental, and economic health by building strong relationships among people and organizations. The group is grounded in the belief that as individuals and organizations, we are most effective when working together towards a common goal rather than separately trying to reach the same goal.
