SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner is hosting its 9th annual Harvest Day and Barn Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the church, 50 Main St. (Route 219).
There will also be baked goods and raffle basket sale tables, as well as a raffle for a truckload of loam donated by David Bragg.
Breakfast and a beanhole bean and hot dog lunch will be offered inside the church, with indoor or outdoor seating.
Approximately 15 local crafters and vendors will set up their tables on the grass leading up to the pavilion.
For the fourth year, there will be a collection box for new or very good used blankets for Maine’s Native Americans. Blankets may also be left in the marked container on the back deck until Sept. 23.
The event will be held rain or shine. All proceeds from the church sale tables and breakfast and lunch sales benefit the outreach of the church.
