Geci joins Androscoggin Bank commercial lending team

LEWISTON — Ben Geci has joined Androscoggin Bank’s commercial lending team as chief lending officer and executive vice president.
Geci was director of southern commercial banking and the senior vice president for Cumberland and York counties at Camden National Bank before joining Androscoggin Bank, according to a news release from Androscoggin Bank. In that role, he oversaw the merger of Bank of Maine and Camden National Bank, with a focus on customer transition.

He also supervised the commercial banking team and was influential in growing the bank’s southern Maine presence.
Androscoggin Bank President and CEO Paul Andersen said, “As a longtime lender myself, I share and appreciate Ben’s commitment to helping Maine businesses achieve their goals. Geci’s career in banking also includes leadership roles within the commercial lending departments of Bank of Maine and TD Bank. A 1992 graduate of Bowdoin College, Geci resides in Falmouth with his wife and three children.
