MADRID — Reeds Mill Church on Reeds Mill Road will be hosting its annual hymn sing Sunday, Sept. 10, 7 p.m. Since 1978, the September hymn sing has been offering an opportunity to enjoy the serenity of this one-room, historic church despite the absence of electricity, water and central heat. For an hour, we will “raise the roof with songs of praise and worship!”
All are welcome. The kerosene lamps will be lit, lending to the charm, but bringing a flashlight is recommended. For directions or more information, call 207-639-2713.
