MINOT — Minot Community Day, which takes place Saturday, Sept. 23, will have events ranging from a hot-rod car show, to a kids’ bike parade, to a pie-eating contest.
Events are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hemonds Moto-X and Off-Road Park, 695 Woodman Hill Road.
The schedule is:
8 a.m.: Car show vehicles arrive.
9 a.m.: Minot Community Day opens.
9:30 a.m.: Kids Bike Parade.
9:45 a.m.: Kids Fun Run.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Games for kids and grownups, a kids’ craft tent, hay bale toss, frying pan toss, young entrepreneur fair, carnival games, local vendors, bounce house, fire gear relay, Fire Department demonstrations, a Smoke House sponsored by the Norway Fire Department.
11 a.m. to noon: Hot dogs, beans, coleslaw for sale by the Minot Historical Society.
12:30 p.m.: Make Your Own “Saturdays” (sundaes) by Boy Scout Troop 139.
1 p.m. Pie Eating Contest.
