OQUOSSOC — The Rangeley Region Guides’ and Sportsmen’s Association will hold its monthly potluck dinner and educational program Thursday, Sept. 21, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the clubhouse on Old Skiway Road. Back by popular demand is the “theme” potluck dinner, this month featuring “Catch of the Day.”
Attendees are asked to bring either a seafood entrée, appetizer, salad or dessert. The educational program will follow the dinner at approximately 6:30 p.m. and will be presented by Hal Blood and Lee Schanz, representing the Maine Professional Guide’s Association. Their presentation and ensuing discussion will focus on ways outdoor sporting enthusiasts and organizations can work collaboratively to make sure outdoor sporting traditions endure for future generations.
The public is always welcomed to attend these dinners and programs.
